Snow is falling in Canada, and here’s what to look forward to when it gets here.

FOX’s Katie Timperio has “FOX on Love”:

Oh, Canada! (S. Rhymes with Canada):

It doesn’t rain in Canada, it snow! So, why the rush for skiers and snowboarders in this weather? According to longdrive.com, some of the best-rated snowy getaways are in Canada. The first weekend of December, for example, Cass Lake, Minnesota is 14 percent snow free, and Mackenzie Mountain Resort, Alberta has just 56 percent. So, to get the most out of your vacation, visit around Thanksgiving (which happens to be the third week of November across the entire country). Christmas is completely snow-covered in Banff and Banff, Alberta, and about as snowy as a Canadian mountain resort can get. You could see skiing in the town of Whistler. More American skiers to visit one of the world’s best rated resorts.

Still have some winter vacation, “FOX on Love” weeknights at 11:00pm ET!

Some who ski say winter is all about the tricks.

And, one of the trickiest is called “quartering.” Find yourself on an unfriendly slope and caught in the moment? Carefully lower your knees and start to side plank, then bring your head back up. Over and over again!

Rob Lowe, Gretchen Carlson and Mike Rowe are among celebrities who’ve taken to the slopes!

In the FOX Country Podcast this week: Why do we have such a hard time using our phones while driving? Tyler Hubbard has a surprising answer. And, it’s always fun when Jennifer Nettles performs.
